Good news: yes, we work hard... but our vibe is anything but boring!

Who we are (and why you might love us)

Welcome to Maerix — a passionate team developing management applications in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Human Resources, and Production, used all around the world.

Maerix Inc. is a solid company with an international client base. We have over 350 clients in 42 countries, including Fox, Kraft, SC Johnson, GE, Ikea, and many other well-known companies you’d also get the chance to work with!

We could have simply called this role “Sales Representative,” “Business Development,” or even “Customer Service”...

But at Maerix, we prefer titles that feel real and make you want to keep reading.

So yes: you’ll be our Demo Pro, but with a much richer role than the title suggests.

What your day-to-day looks like:

🎯 1. Sales & Business Development (the core of the role)

  • Handle incoming demo requests from our website
  • Qualify prospects: needs, challenges, HSE maturity, expectations
  • Lead impactful presentations of our solutions (mostly virtual, sometimes in person)
  • Prepare and send proposals/quotes
  • Follow up to move opportunities forward
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with each prospect — and future client

👥 2. Presentation & Demonstration (where you shine)

  • Present the company and our software with clarity, impact, and professionalism
  • Tailor your message to the industry, context, and specific needs
  • Clearly explain next steps with confidence and simplicity
  • Answer questions (including the surprise ones that always pop up at the end)

🤝 3. Customer Service & Internal Collaboration

  • Represent Maerix to both existing and future clients
  • Document your interactions and follow-ups in Poutine, our CRM
  • “Pass the puck” to the implementation team at the right moment
  • Share client feedback and needs to support continuous improvement
  • Help prepare and manage logistics for trade shows, fairs, and conferences... and be there when it counts

In summary:

You’re the first smile, the first impression, the first conversation, and often... the client’s first “wow”.

You understand what they’re looking for, show them how our solutions can help, and guide them until they officially join the Maerix family.

It’s a strategic, relational, consultative, and truly energizing role.

What we’re looking for (in you, not in your horoscope)

We’re mainly looking for attitude: someone curious, organized, and motivated.

If you’ve got the will, we’ll teach you the rest.

Ideally, you...

  • Communicate very well in French and English, spoken and written
  • Are comfortable presenting both virtually and in person
  • Handle a computer, tablet, and mobile with ease
  • Demonstrate curiosity, organization, and diligence
  • Love asking questions and understanding client needs
  • Have an interest in occupational health & safety (a plus!)
  • Have some experience in sales / advisory roles (we’ll turn you into a PRO!)

Bonus points:

  • Another language = an asset
  • Experience in SaaS or B2B = big plus

Working Conditions (the real deal)

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid work mode with a minimum of 2 days/week in the office (a bit more at the beginning for training!)
  • Flexible schedule
  • Work–family balance taken seriously
  • Salary: we prefer to discuss it together — the boss always says it’s not about how much you cost, but how much you bring in!
  • Car and valid driver’s license
  • Passport or ability to obtain one: we are international, after all!
  • Start date: as soon as possible
